Where to follow the Alex Eala live score

Live scores in professional tennis come from the official scoring system run by the tournament. Umpires enter every point on a tablet on court, and the data feeds the official apps within seconds. These are the sources we recommend.

The WTA app and wtatennis.com

For all WTA Tour events – including Wuhan, Ningbo, Tokyo and Hong Kong – the official WTA app and website show point-by-point live scores, the order of play and the draws. Her official WTA player profile lists her latest matches and her ranking. You can usually set notifications for a player so that the app alerts you when her match starts and ends.

Tournament and Grand Slam apps

Most big tournaments have their own app or live-score section on their website, and each of the four Grand Slams publishes an official app with live scores, match statistics and court schedules. For the Australian Open in January 2027 the tournament's own app will be the most detailed source.

What this site shows

Alex Eala Tennis News does not run a point-by-point ticker. Our status card and the Alex Eala match today page show whether she is playing, her latest result and her next match, and final scores are added to her 2026 results after each match. For the live point-by-point score, use the official apps above.

How to read a tennis live score

A live tennis score has three levels – sets, games and points – and a few abbreviations that appear in every scoreboard:

  • Sets: WTA matches are best of three sets. The completed sets are shown first, for example 6-4, 3-2.
  • Games: a set is won by the first player to six games with a two-game lead; at 6-6 a tiebreak decides the set.
  • Points: within a game the count is 0, 15, 30, 40 and game. At 40-40 ("deuce") a player needs two points in a row; "AD" marks the advantage.
  • Serve indicator: a dot or ball icon next to a name shows who is serving.
  • Tiebreak notation: in 7-6(9) the number in brackets is the loser's tiebreak points. When Eala beat Iga Swiatek 7-6(9), 6-2 at Wimbledon 2026, she won the first-set tiebreak 11-9.
  • Deciding-set tiebreaks at the Grand Slams are played to 10 points. Her first US Open win, against Clara Tauson in 2025, ended 7-6(11) – a 13-11 tiebreak.
  • "ret." and "w/o": a retirement during a match (at Indian Wells 2026 she led Coco Gauff 6-2, 2-0 when Gauff retired) and a walkover when a player withdraws before the match.
  • "Suspended": play is stopped, usually for rain or darkness, and resumed later at the same score.

Alex Eala score: her latest results

On days without an Alex Eala score today, the table is the place to look: it lists her six most recent matches with the score written from her side, so the first number in each set is her games. Her autumn has been a difficult stretch: three-set defeats to Iva Jovic at the US Open (5-7, 6-3, 5-7) and to Tatiana Prozorova in Singapore (6-4, 5-7, 3-6), followed by two straight-set wins and a semifinal loss to Wang Xiyu (6-3, 3-6, 2-6) at the Asian Games.

Each of her last four defeats, counting the loss to Amanda Anisimova in Cincinnati (6-4, 4-6, 2-6), went to a deciding set, which is why the live score of her matches often changes direction late. Her season numbers by surface and opponent are on the Alex Eala stats page.

When to check the Alex Eala live score in Philippine time

For the rest of 2026 most of her tournaments are in the same time zone as the Philippines. Wuhan, Ningbo and Hong Kong use UTC+8, so the times on the order of play equal Philippine time (PHT, UTC+8). Tokyo is one hour ahead, and Melbourne in January is three hours ahead. At WTA 1000 events the first matches on the main courts usually begin around 11:00 to 12:00 local time, but her exact slot is only known when the order of play is published the evening before. Dates and venues for every upcoming event are on Alex Eala's schedule.

If her match is listed as "followed by", check the live score of the match before hers on the same court: when that one reaches the third set, her start is usually close.

Watching live instead of following the score

In the Philippines her WTA Tour matches are broadcast on Premier Sports 2 and Premier Sports, available on Cignal, and streamed on Cignal Play and Blast TV. The Grand Slams are split between beIN SPORTS and SPOTV. Coverage of individual courts can vary, so a live score is sometimes the only way to follow an Alex Eala live game in the early rounds. Channel numbers and streaming services, including what is and is not on YouTube, are listed on where to watch Alex Eala live.
