Each picture comes with a short caption. Most of the court photos were taken at Wimbledon, the Grand Slam where she has gone furthest so far.

The moments behind the photos
Wimbledon 2026: her best Grand Slam run
Several images show Eala on the grass of the All England Club – walking across the grounds, on court in the sunshine and taking a drink between games. The serve photo is the easiest to date: Iga Swiatek's name on the scoreboard places it in their third-round match of 2026. Seeded 29th that year, Eala had beaten Renata Zarazua and Maya Joint before meeting the defending champion.
The win over Iga Swiatek
Eala saved two set points in the first-set tiebreak and beat Swiatek 7-6(9), 6-2 on 4 July 2026. Two days later she lost to Jasmine Paolini 4-6, 6-4, 3-6, but the run made her the first Filipino to reach the fourth round of a major in the Open Era. The full story is on our page about Alex Eala at the Grand Slams.
Celebrations on the WTA Tour
The photo with her arms raised captures the kind of moment that became more frequent in 2026: a WTA 125 title in Birmingham in June, a semifinal in Berlin and, on 3 August 2026, her first WTA Tour title in Washington after a 4-6, 6-4, 6-0 win over Jessica Pegula.
Junior years and the Eala family
The junior photo is a reminder of where it started: long before the WTA Tour she was winning age-group events abroad, such as the Little Mo International in 2013 and Les Petits As in 2018, the title that earned her a scholarship at the Rafa Nadal Academy. The family picture shows her with her brother Miko, her mother Rizza Maniego-Eala, a former national swimmer, and her father Mike Eala. More about them is in the Alex Eala biography.
Where to find official Alex Eala photos
For the newest pictures after each match, the most reliable sources are official ones:
- the WTA website and her player page on wtatennis.com, which publish match galleries and news photos;
- the official websites and social channels of the tournaments she plays, including the four Grand Slams;
- her official social media accounts and those of her sponsors, who publish campaign and event photos;
- Philippine and international news agencies, whose photographers cover her matches on site.
Be careful with fan pages and image-search results: pictures are often cropped, mislabelled or taken from a different year. Checking the date and the event in the caption helps. Her latest results are always on Alex Eala news.
Using Alex Eala photos: copyright basics
Tennis photos are protected by copyright, which usually belongs to the photographer or the agency that employs them. Tournaments and the WTA also set rules for how their images may be used. In practice this means:
- sharing an official post through the platform's own share function is generally fine;
- downloading a photo and publishing it on your own website, in a shop or in advertising requires a licence from the rights holder;
- using her image to suggest that she endorses a product or service is not allowed without her agreement;
- when in doubt, ask the photographer or the agency named in the credit.
This site is an independent fan and information project and not an official website of the player. Every picture in our gallery carries a caption; if you are a rights holder and see a problem with an image, please write to us through the contact page.
