Alex Eala's career prize money and 2026 earnings
The WTA publishes official prize-money figures for every player. They combine singles and doubles and are gross amounts: what tournaments pay out before taxes, coaching fees and travel costs. Eala's career total of US$3,354,035 and her 2026 year-to-date figure of US$1,990,350 both come from her WTA profile on 8 October 2026.
Her 2026 earnings reflect her best season so far: main-draw places at all four Grand Slams, a fourth round at Wimbledon, the Washington title, the Berlin semifinal and regular deep runs at WTA 1000 level. As of 14 September 2026, before the Singapore Open, the Wikipedia statistics page placed her No. 25 on the WTA money list for the year.
Alex Eala earnings by season: how the money grew
Her first professional year, 2020, was spent on the ITF circuit; no official WTA figure exists, and our estimate from the match records is about US$1,437. In 2021 she earned US$13,524 (No. 508 on the money list), in 2022 US$49,547 (No. 340) and in 2023 US$93,340 (No. 280).

Biggest payday: the Washington title
The largest single cheque in our verified data is US$252,000 for winning the Mubadala DC Open in Washington (WTA 500) in August 2026, according to the WTA match feed. She earned it by beating Zheng Qinwen, Leylah Fernandez, Elina Svitolina, Naomi Osaka and top seed Jessica Pegula, and the title also lifted her into the top 20 of the WTA ranking.
Her other big results, such as the Wimbledon fourth round and the Miami semifinal, also brought large sums, but we have not verified the exact amount for each event, so we do not list estimates. As a rule, the Grand Slams pay the most per round in tennis, and reaching the main draw at a major already earns more than winning a smaller title on the ITF circuit. Her Grand Slam results are on the Alex Eala at the Grand Slams page.
Alex Eala net worth: what is known and what is not
There is no reliable figure for Alex Eala's net worth. Numbers that circulate online are guesses: they are not published by the player, her management or any official body. The only income that can be checked is her official WTA prize money.
She also has commercial partners, but the value of these deals has not been made public. They include Nike for apparel (since 2019), Babolat for rackets of the Pure Aero line, Globe Telecom (since she was eight), BPI (announced in January 2023), Locally (July 2025), Milo Philippines (February 2026), Marriott Bonvoy (August 2026) and Panasonic Philippines (August 2026). Her equipment is described on the Alex Eala racket and equipment page. Appearance fees for exhibitions, such as her match against Janice Tjen at the Philippine Arena on 8 December 2026, are not published either.
Why prize money is not take-home pay
A professional tennis player runs a small business. From gross prize money come taxes, which are often withheld in the country where a tournament is played, and the costs of a full season on the road: flights and hotels for the player and her team, salaries for coaches, a physiotherapist and a fitness coach, stringing and other equipment, and fees for agents. A player ranked in the top 20 travels almost every week from January to November. How much of her prize money Eala keeps is therefore not known, and we do not estimate it.
What is clear is that her ranking drives her income: a higher ranking means direct entry into the biggest events and seedings that avoid the strongest players in early rounds. Her full records are on the Alex Eala stats page.
What can still change in 2026
Her 2026 total will rise further. She is entered at the WTA 1000 Wuhan Open (12–18 October), the WTA 500 events in Ningbo (19–25 October) and Tokyo (26 October – 1 November), and is announced for the WTA 250 event in Hong Kong (2–8 November); the dates are on our Alex Eala schedule. A possible fine of US$10,000 for skipping the mandatory China Open to play the Asian Games was reported in September; as of 8 October 2026 no WTA ruling had been published.
